MagicPad helps you use your iPhone or iPad as a remote trackpad for your Mac. This page explains what the app uses, what it does not collect, and how your local connection works.

Information the app uses

Local network access, only when you choose to discover nearby Macs.
On-device preferences such as appearance, haptics, orientation, cursor speed, and scrolling direction.
StoreKit purchase status for MagicPad Pro, handled by Apple.

Information the app does not collect

No account registration.
No advertising identifiers.
No third-party analytics in the core controller experience.
No screen capture from your Mac.
No storage of pointer history, files, or keystroke contents.

Local network traffic

MagicPad is designed to communicate between your own devices on the same local network. Local Network access is requested only when you explicitly start Mac discovery.

In-app purchases

If you unlock MagicPad Pro, payment processing, receipts, and entitlement verification are handled by Apple through StoreKit.
